ABOUT US

Green Resilience and Cooperation for Ecosystem (GRACE) is a dynamic, community-based, non-profit organization committed to empowering disadvantaged and marginalized communities through participatory and sustainable development.

Although newly registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB), GRACE has been serving communities for over 12 years under the Department of Social Services (DSS). From modest beginnings, it has evolved into a rights-based, climate-conscious, and socially inclusive organization promoting human development and ecosystem resilience.

GRACE integrates climate resilience, gender equality, youth empowerment, health, and social protection within its programs, aligning with national priorities and global frameworks such as the SDGs, the Sendai Framework, and the Paris Climate Agreement.

Operating amid Bangladesh’s complex socio-economic and climatic challenges, GRACE seeks to bridge gaps in inclusion and resilience—particularly for women, youth, and marginalized groups in vulnerable regions.

Our vision is a just and equitable society free from poverty and discrimination, where everyone can live with dignity and opportunity. Guided by a mission of holistic, rights-based, and participatory development, GRACE collaborates closely with government, local institutions, civil society, the private sector, and international partners.

Our work is grounded in core values of humanity, transparency, accountability, inclusivity, sustainability, and innovation—ensuring that every initiative strengthens justice, gender sensitivity, youth leadership, and environmental stewardship.
