Accountability
Accountability Commitment
At GRACE, accountability is not just a principle—it is the foundation of our mission and the heart of our operations. Guided by the principles of the national and international best practices, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of transparency, integrity, and responsibility in everything we do.
We believe accountability is built through trust—trust from the communities we serve, our partners, our donors, and all stakeholders. To honor that trust, GRACE commits to:
Transparency: Sharing clear, accurate, and timely information about our programs, decisions, and the use of resources.
Participation: Ensuring that community voices shape our priorities, decision-making, and program design.
Responsiveness: Listening to feedback and acting promptly to address concerns, challenges, and opportunities.
Integrity: Managing all resources ethically, efficiently, and effectively to maximize impact.
Learning & Improvement: Continuously monitoring, evaluating, and adapting our work to deliver sustainable results.
We also recognize that accountability means ensuring safety, dignity, and respect for all. Therefore, GRACE upholds a zero-tolerance policy against exploitation, abuse, harassment, and misconduct. Through our Safeguarding and Complaints Feedback & Response Mechanism, we provide safe, confidential channels for raising concerns, with the assurance that all reports will be addressed fairly, promptly, and transparently.
Our accountability extends to the strict implementation of all GRACE policies, including Safeguarding, Child Protection, Gender Equality, Anti-Fraud, Financial Transparency, and Complaints Handling. These commitments ensure that our values are not only stated but lived out across every level of our organization.
At GRACE, accountability is a living practice—woven into our culture, our systems, and our daily work. It is an ongoing promise to remain true to our stakeholders, our communities, and the principles of equity, justice, and human dignity.
