Climate Resilience

GRACE EXPERTIZE AREA: Climate Resilience

At GRACE, we are dedicated to building climate-resilient communities through innovative, locally driven solutions. Our approach focuses on empowering vulnerable populations—especially smallholder farmers, women, and youth to adapt to the increasing impacts of climate change.

We promote climate-smart agriculture, sustainable natural resource management, and eco-friendly livelihood practices that enhance food security and environmental sustainability. Through community-based adaptation, capacity development, and technology demonstration, GRACE supports households to recover, adapt, and thrive in changing climate conditions.

Our climate resilience initiatives include:

  • Promoting climate-smart farming techniques and resilient crop varieties.
  • Establishing community-based adaptation and disaster preparedness plans.
  • Strengthening local seed preservation and innovation systems.
  • Enhancing knowledge and skills for sustainable livelihoods and ecosystem protection.
  • Facilitating public private partnerships for green innovation and environmental stewardship.

Through these actions, GRACE envisions a resilient and sustainable future where communities are equipped to face climate challenges with confidence and innovation.
