Rooted in Bangladesh’s most climate-vulnerable coastal districts, GRACE leads innovative programmes advancing disaster preparedness, climate adaptation, and ecosystem restoration. By integrating early warning systems, climate risk insurance, and nature-based solutions, GRACE strengthens community resilience while prioritising women, youth, and marginalised groups. Every initiative is designed with local participation, ensuring sustainable landscapes and safer futures in the face of increasing cyclones, floods, and salinity intrusion. We place the greatest value on local knowledge and understanding when addressing challenges and identifying solutions. GRACE challenges top-down approaches and believes that solutions should emerge inclusively from the community level.
